IIChE Seminar 4 

1)' Regional Codes In Chemical Industry ' 

 Mr. Prasana Velpula :  Mr. Prasana Velpula is a graduate in mechanical engineering from Andhra University . Started his career with Bharat Heavt Plates and Electricals (BHEL), Vishakhapatnam. He has been with UOP Honeywell for last 9 years in quality control . He is also an ISO 9001 Certified Auditor, AWS certified welding inspector and has ASNT Level 2 certification in various NDE methods. He is also involved in the inspection  of various Pressure Vessels , Heat Exchanges , Columns , rotary equipment , various raw materials and components designed according to various national and International standards.

          In his work experience of 22 years as QAQC Professionals, he had worked in the domain for various EPC Projects in Refinery, Petrochemical and Oil and Gas Industries.

2)  ' Design ' 

          Mr Raj Kumar: graduated in Mechanical Engineering, working with Lloyd's Register since            1997 after an initial experience at nuclear power corporation.
          Currently, he works includes Management in Design appraisal operations in Asia and responsible for management of Authorised Regional Operations Centre (AROC) at Mumbai forthe control of all EC directives works in Asia.

3) ' Inspectin and Testing '

          Mr Puran Pathak: Graduated as a Mechanical engineer from Delhi College of Engineering,              He joined Lloyd's Register after working with Larsen and Toubro Limited.

          Since then, he has been with the company for the last 19 years in various capacities as a surveyor , senior surveyor and handling North India Operations as well as client training services for India. 

          He is also involved in the field survey of various Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchanges, storage tanks to ASME as an Authorised inspector for boilers and pressure vessels to ASME codes.
