IIChE Student Chapter of  USCT, GGSIPU

Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE) is a chemical engineers association started by Dr H.L.Roy who was the founder president of the Association.it was started as a small organisation before the independence i.e 18 May 1947 and now it is a national level recognised association with over 15,000 members and over 55 regional centres. This is a platform where students can be linked with the industrialist. chemical engineers, industrialist, teachers and also, students are members of this council. there are many perks of joining this institution.

In IIChE student chapter of USCT, we work on developing your skills for the upcoming demands of the chemical industry, 

Perks of being a part of our Student Chapter :

1) WORKSHOP: You can attend various workshops that are organised by the association . in the workshop, there are industrialist or teachers who are speaking on the various topics or debate about the industrial issues faced by the engineers on which they have gained knowledge over the years. After the workshop, there is a common lunch in which with good food, students can interact with the industrialists. This creates a positive environment. 

2) RECOGNITION: being a member of IIChE is also a big deal as it is a national level organisation and also recognised among companies. This might also impact your CV in a positive way.

3) INDUSTRIAL SITE  VISIT: If you are lucky enough, you can also get a visit to various industries where you can see and learn about various processing techniques and get an insight view of how the machine works.
