APPLIED MATHEMATICS 2

Contents :

1. Probability Statistics : This unit consist of study of different methods of probability like bayes theorem, binomial, Poisson, normal distribution, Properties of regression coefficient , sampling etc. Topics like F-Test and sampling are important for scoring.

2. Linear Programming : Based on solution of problems using linear programming methods like Simplex method, dual problem formulation, Dual simplex method are important and one question is likely to come from them.

3. Optimization : Study of all search gradient method and Lagrange multipliers 

4. Network scheduling ( PERT and CPM ) : Solving for any one of these methods is most likely to come for examination.
