UNIT 1-

Stoichiometric and composition relationship

This part tells us about the behaviour of the ideal gas, gaseous mixture, humidity, and humidity chart.

Units and Dimensions

This part tells us about the basic applications of laws of conversation of mass and energy to single and multistage processes.

UNIT 2-

Material Balance

This unit is about the material balance of non-reacting and reacting systems

UNIT 3-

Energy Balance

This unit is about the energy balance for non-reacting and reactions systems. It also tells us about flame temperature, Adiabatic reaction temperature, combustion, heat capacity and heat of reaction.

UNIT 4-

MATERIAL AND ENERGY BALANCE

This unit explains about material and energy balances for unit operations and processes, integrated balances for manufacturing processes.

MASS AND ENERGY BALANCE IN BIOPROCESSES

This unit is concerned about flow sheet and process calculations, and also about metabolic stoichiometry of growth and product formation.
