Remedial English, writing and oral communication were the main topics with a wide range of sub-topics covered under these concepts.

PHYSICS I

Physics 1 first semester
In the course physics I, study about relativity, optics, lasers and fiber optics will be done. This course contains two lectures, one tutorial and two lab practical. credits value of this subject is 3+1= 4.

ORGANIC CHEMISTRY

Organic Chemistry First Semester

Organic Chemistry deals with the study of structures, properties and reactions involved with organic compounds.
Classification of organic compounds and chemistry of hydrocarbon as well as functional groups are the main concepts taught throughout the semester in a very deep approach.
This subject includes three lectures, one tutorials and three practical per week, which effectively holds 6 credits of your first semester.

MATHEMATICS I

mathematics first semester

In mathematics I, topic like infinite differentials, equations with partial differentiation, function and vector calculus and various other topics are taught.

PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY

USCT

Physical Chemistry Second Semester

Physical chemistry deals with the study of:-

1. Gaseous state-  Different theories, laws and equations about the gaseous state of matter are discussed in the first unit.
2. Phase rule-  This unit deals with study of phase rule, phase diagram and two-component system.
3. Chemical kinetics-  Study of rate, kinetics and mechanisms of reactions.
4. Electrochemistry-  This unit deals with concept and laws of electrolysis.
5. Strong electrolytes-  Onsager equations, Activity and activity coefficients.
6. Surface chemistry-  The following unit deals with the study of Adsorption, adsorbate and adsorbents.
7. CatalystsStudy of types of catalysis and their kinematics along with mechanics of catalysis.
