University School of Chemical Technology(USCT) is one of the branches of the main campus of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). It is marked as the B- block within the university.(location).
The University can give you the feeling of being a university student as it is surrounded by friendly and supportive faculty staff and seniors.

INFRASTRUCTURE  AND LOCATION:

The campus is well built like other campus and new technology is coming up which is helping in more development of the campus.

The campus is all surrounded by forest which may seem mesmerising at first but soon you may feel like present in alone place as it does not have any mall's or clubs (except one at Dwarka Sector 14 Metro Station).The college provides free transport facility to the students from college to metro station and vice versa. Also, you can hire a rickshaw or an auto to drop you at metro station at just Rs. 10

LIBRARY:
The university have a common library a.k.a UNIVERSITY INFORMATION RESOURCES CENTRE  where students can access various book, journals , magazines and many more. The library is fully Air - Conditioned with wifi which can be accessed through the password provided by the university.the library is also a cyber hub where you can access the online content. during beginning of every semester, a book bank is organised for students where hey can issue books for full semester and avoid buying books but, they can only issue these that are available for their department. Else, students can also issue any other book in library for a time period of 15 days. University has also developed an online platform named " SHODHGANGA" where you can access online content made available by the university

FEES:

In terms of fees, it may vary as in the year 2015, it was Rs. 48,000 a year whereas from the year 2016, the fees have hiked to Rs.70,000 a year.Comparing to the fees in other campuses, which is more than a lakh a year, it is quite feasible to study here.

FACULTY:

The faculty here is very friendly but USCT lack in the experienced faculty for biochemical engineering students. Hence, biochemical students are seemed to be a minority here.never the less, faculty here is very supportive and help hardworking students in their growth in research and academics by providing support of labs, integrated research projects and much more.

CLUBS:

In the university, you can find various number of clubs which are dedicated to enhance your skills andtalents in various fields like art , dance , music and many more. If you are a science passionate and wanna get into science activities, then you can go for science club. if you want to excel on dance , go for dance  club.

LECTURES AND ATTENDANCE:

As a student of the college, you should make it must attend every lecture taking place in the university.Due to the variety of subjects, many of your lectures will take place in different blocks and you will be assigned with faculty from different branch too.

cCurrently, attendance is not a troublesome issue but college is proceeding with strict measures attendance of students. Also, skipping the classes can also result in skipping of topics of course due to the shortage of time for the lecturer which may affect your result so you should make it must to attend the lectures as much as possible.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES

There is a common canteen which is located within the campus.the canteen serves fresh food which is enough to fill your belly at a reasonable price.From chapati daal to chilly potato, veg to non-veg, you can get a variety here.as much it is cheaper, it also becomes difficult to grab food from here sometimes due to rush in the lunch break.

There are also other outlets for food in the canteen like, there is Nescafe which serves a nice cold chocolate and also there is a tea stall just behind the Nescafe which serves hot tea.Also, there is an Amul outlet near the canteen where you can grab a scoop of ice- cream.

HOSTELS:

There are two boys hostel and two girls hostel in the university where you can get a room at Rs.60,000 a year(prices may vary).The hostel facility is comparatively better than any other hostels as they provide with good food, cold water in summers, hot water for the bathing.The hostel is fully surrounded with Wifi which may save you on your data plans.

EVENTS:

Every year, there is a university event which is organised by a collaboration of all departments called ' ANUGOONJ '. It is a festive event which includes a variety of competitions in the field of strength, knowledge, organises skills like dance, music, arts, dramatics. Also, USCT organises one of the events called ' CHEMCHORD ' which comes under REACT community of USCT.it is an interactive science event where you can participate in quizzes. Also, there is an Alumni meet every year which includes an interaction of students with alumni working in the industry and can provide with som valuable information and insight of the industry.

PLACEMENTS:

 As a university,  it is able to attract companies for jobs and internships. also, alumni of the university help the students in the placement.companies like ONGC, TCS, TATA Steel are seen here during placement
