The 100-hour experiential internship program would require the candidate to visit one or more villages and conduct activities of their choice to contribute to the cause of rural sanitation in India.
There is basically three type of task you can choose for your internship:-
- Information-Education-Communication activities: creating awareness among locals and educating them about cleanliness by keeping the environment clean and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Solid Waste Management related activities
- Support in Toilet Construction
Students are required to follow the following procedure:-
1. Get Enrolled (Individually or as a Teams)2. devote at least 100 hours into the swatchta program
3. Submit an Online Report and get the approval by the Nodal officer
Students following the above activities will be rewarded with certificates and exceptional candidature will also receive recognition and many cash prizes
